Grey = 1st step: Removing
Brown = 2nd step: Smoothing and pre-polishing
Green = 3rd step: High-lustre polishing

This system has been ideally matched for processing soft to middle-hard amalgam alloys and gold. The silicone carbide is embedded in a medium-soft flexible synthetic rubber matrix.
